Houston Marine & Energy Insurance Conference, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, sponsored by Marine Insurance Seminars Inc. HMEIC is committed to providing and promoting educational opportunities in marine and energy insurance and admiralty law fields.  We do that by supporting our college and university partners who are educating and developing the marine and energy insurance and law professionals of the future.

Donations and Educational Assistance

Since 2006, the Conference has donated over $1,618,000 in program assistance, scholarships and library assistance to over twenty law schools and universities to aid their insurance programs and support their marine law curriculum.

The Conference also hosts a variety of student guests who are currently enrolled in one of the institutions of higher learning that we support.  Learn more about our student guest program and our Student Success Stories.
