What is a Bundle?

A membership bundle is a collection of members/attendees who are linked together and managed by one of their members – the bundle coordinator (the person that registered the sponsorship). When a person or organization signs up for sponsorship at a bundle level, they become the coordinator for the bundle. The bundle coordinator/sponsor is responsible for adding new (complimentary) members/attendees to the bundle.  

  • A bundle membership invoice is generated for the bundle coordinator applicant.
  • Account login information and a temporary password is emailed to the bundle coordinator.


After the applicant's membership/sponsorship is approved and the invoice is paid, the following actions are triggered:

  • A welcome email is sent to the bundle coordinator that tells them how to add (complimentary) members/attendees.

Bundle Coordinator Adds a Member/Attendee

After the invoice for the bundle membership fee is paid and the application is approved, the bundle coordinator can view and manage bundle members/attendees from within their own profile.


Important note: The Add member button will only be visible to bundle coordinators if both of the following are true:

  • The bundle coordinator has a membership status of Active
  • The bundle has not yet reached the maximum member limit


Contacts or members cannot add themselves to a bundle. There are three ways in which members can be added to a bundle:

  • Bundle coordinator adds a member
  • Admin adds a member to a bundle
  • Admin adds members to a bundle via import

To Add Members to a Bundle as the Bundle Coordinator, Follow These Steps:

1. Log into your WildApricot site.

2. Click your name or the View profile link to jump to your member profile.

3. Within the Bundle summary section of your Profile page, click the Add member button.

4. Complete the membership application form on behalf of the person you want to add as a bundle member.

5. Click Save.

6. The new bundle member's record now appears.


To return to your profile, click the Return to bundle list and your own profile link.


Editing Bundle Member Information

The bundle coordinator can modify a bundle member's profile from within the bundle coordinator's profile. To modify a bundle member's profile, click the bundle member's name within the Bundle summary section of the bundle coordinator's profile, then click the Edit profile button within the bundle member's profile.


Removing a Bundle Member

Only an account administrator – not a bundle coordinator – can remove a member from a bundle, by assigning the bundle member to a non-bundle (individual) membership level, then suspending their membership.


A bundle coordinator, however, can archive a bundle member, so that the member is no longer part of the bundle, but still remains part of the site's contact database (though as an inactive contact).


To archive a bundle member, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your WildApricot site.

2. Click your name or the View profile link to jump to your member profile.

3. Within the Bundle summary section of your Profile page, click the name of the member you want to archive.

4. From the member's profile that appears, scroll down to the bottom and click the Archive button.

5. You can now click the Return to bundle list and your own profile link to return to your member profile.
