Planning Committee
The Team
The Houston Marine & Energy Insurance Conference's Planning Committee comprises volunteers from the marine and energy insurance and law professions. The committee is responsible for setting the program, booking speakers, managing conference logistics, marketing and advertising, fundraising, student and community outreach, and ensuring that the Conference remains the premier meeting place for the global marine and energy insurance and legal communities. The HMEIC's continued success is due to the dedication and commitment of its volunteers.

Students
Scholarships
The Houston Marine & Energy Insurance Conference offers financial assistance to various educational institutions and programs to provide scholarships and grants for students pursuing marine and energy insurance and admiralty law studies. Each year, the Conference invites student delegates from the supported schools to attend the event free of charge. Many of the former student delegates have gone on to pursue successful careers in marine and energy insurance and law.
